Fantastic Summer of Learning! —

September 15, 2009 — Having set up and settled in from our recent move, MRHT enjoyed a fantastic summer chock full of horsemanship learning. It was such a treat to see so many new faces in the various courses and clinics held this summer. My sincere thanks to those of you who shared a part of your journey with me. What a honor to know and support you and your equine companion!

Some of the highlights this summer from the Wholeness Through Horsemanship curriculum include a full house for Horsemanship 101: Earning Respect, Horsemanship 201: Building Rapport, Training for the Trail, Riding Refinement and the Trailer Loading Clinic. A new clinic called Truck and Trailer Safety and Handling was also introduced and was a huge success.

On top of the wonderful courses and clinics that were held, the MRHT trail riders got to explore some new and out of this world cool destinations. As I see it, life does not get much more joy filled than exploring the beautiful Colorado countryside, atop a trustworthy horse, in the company of fellow horse lovers.

As if all this was not wonderful enough, the summer was made complete by having the privilege of introducing some youngsters to the world of being a saddle horse. Starting colts is such a special experience for me as every time I feel humbled by the horses gracious spirit and willingness to extend themselves to us in partnership.

Many thanks for your part in having this summer be such a superb kick off at our awesome new property!
