Nestled amongst an old tree grove, near a seasonal creek, and with views of the lovely surrounding equestrian landscape, this home away from home is a perfect venue for relaxation and rejuvenation for horse enthusiasts and non-horse folk alike.

The bunkhouse is available for whole house or single room rental for 1 night to 1 month durations. Should you come with your own housing on wheels, we also offer RV/LQ sites as well as overnighting accommodations for horses.

The Be Well Bunkhouse is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath bunkhouse located on a working horse ranch. Whether your stay is inspired by a desire for horse involvement or you are simply looking for a quiet and charming place to rest, rejuvenate, work or play, let us welcome you to this winsome home away from home.

We are located across the street from a lovely state park with access to abundant hiking, biking or horseback riding trails, fishing, boating, swimming, frisbee golf, playgrounds, lovely scenery, and tranquil spaces. Conveniently located in the heart of America, just west of Kearney, NE, the Be Well Bunkhouse is just off I-80 with easy interstate access.

The Be Well Bunkhouse can sleep up to 10 people, making it a great venue for a family or friend gathering. There are three bedrooms total on either side of the shared kitchen, dining, living room space. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed (sleeps 2), electric fireplace, sitting area and adjoining private bath. The second room offers a full size bed (sleeps 1 -2), sitting area and desk work space and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom. The third room houses two twin sized bunk beds (sleeps 4), a sitting area and desk work space. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the liiving room which can sleep an additional 2 people. The bunkhouse is newly remodeled, fully furnished and is equipped with a ready to go kitchen with dishwasher, large dining room table, mud room, washer and dryer and outdoor patio table.

We are a horse and dog friendly accommodation offering a fenced dog run off the back deck and private horse runs in close proximity (see horse and dog policies below for more).

Our horses give an indescribable amount to us: pleasure, outpouring, satisfaction and the willingness to load in that trailer for yet another haul to our destination of choice. Pay it back to them with a night of rest and some rejuvenation at the Be Well Horse Motel, a comfy and horse friendly venue! The Be Well Horse Motel at Mountain Rose Ranch is a part of our full-service equestrian facility, where providing top notch and horse centered care is our business. Rest assured that your horse will enjoy safe, secure and horse friendly accommodations for the duration of their stay.

Our Be Well Horse Motel offers three private outdoor runs or 6 private indoor stalls as options for your furry friend(s). Each run and stall are equipped with slow feeder hay nets designed to mimic the horse's natural grazing patterns, prevent boredom and minimize stress. Water buckets are provided and are cleaned and disinfected between visits. Overnighting horses may have access to the nearby round pen for exercise with owner supervision. If overnighting guests desire use of the riding facilities during their stay a facility use day pass may be purchased for $15.

All overnight boarders are required to complete Short Term Boarding Agreement prior to their stay and to abide by the policies and terms of the agreement throughout the duration of the stay.

Horse Health: Any horse staying the night MUST provide documentation showing vaccinations for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) within 6 months as well as have a current negative EIA/Coggins test (within 12 months). A health certificate (30-day) is needed on all out of state horses. Documentation of the health requirements is requested in advance of arrival.
