November 10, 2013 — What a splendid show season it was for the horses and people of Mountain Rose Horsemanship! We are still coming off the high of being in attendance at last week's Western Dressage World Show held in Tusla, OK (see previous post for more).
Then this week's highlight included the very fun Year End Awards Banquet put on by the Nebraska Dressage Association. Emily and the MRH horses were well rewarded for their efforts in the dressage ring during the 2013 season, bringing home a slew of trophies, medals and awards. We are most proud to now display in the barn the 2013 Western Dressage Champion Trophy and the Overall High Point Trophy and intend to keep our claim on them in the seasons to come as well!
Speaking about our successful show season would not be complete without a proper mentioning of Emily's fine dressage coach and instructor, Becky Parker of RP Dressage. Emily is so grateful to have met Becky shortly after arriving in Nebraska as she has been a terrific asset and a wealth of information to Emily and the horses of MRH alike -- thank you Becky!
We are already planning ahead and in great anticipation of the season to come, which will include both a presence on the Nebraska show circuit and a trip back down to Oklahoma for the 2014 Western Dressage World Show.
