Learning Abounds at the 2014 Nebraska Horse Expo —

November 20, 2014 — The three days of this year's Nebraska Horse Expo, held November 14th - 16th in Lincoln, NE, were jam packed! With what you might ask? Abundant fun, festivities and friends -- all horse related of course! If that weren't enough, in the case of Emily Johnson, owner of Mountain Rose Horsemanship, this year's Expo was extra full with not one, not two, not three . . . but 9 presentations over the three days!

Emily brought her unique, approachable and always entertaining perspective that has come to characterize her as a sought after horsemanship educator, to the eager and enthusiast minds of horse lovers of all kinds. Her topics for this year included: The Who, What and Why of Western Dressage; Build Want, Not Make; and Find and Fine Tuning Your Feel. Each was then presented in 3 parts providing equine enthusiasts the opportunity to delve deeper within each topic. Her noteworthy topics combined with her just right blend of education and entertainment were real crowd pleasers (the word on the street from the Expo attendees we visited with was that her presentations were by far some of their favorites!).

"I had such a great time at the Expo this year," said Emily. "I never cease to feel both humbled and honored when horse lovers allow me to be a part of their journey and this can uundoubetedly be said for this year's Expo. It was such a treat to have such great turnouts and enthusiasm for my sessions and to see so many new faces and meet many a new horse friend! I offer my terrific thanks both to the staff and countless volunteers who work their tails off to make the Expo happen and to all those who joined me for my sessions. I am very much looking forward to next year already!"
